Information

When fleeing their country asylum seekers & refugees do not have any real knowledge of where they are going. They do not know about its culture, its laws, and how its society works. They only know that it is a safe place.

This lack of knowledge puts them at a disadvantage, they are unaware of the knowledge that we gain during our upbringing and that we take for granted. We try to provide a remedy for this.

Working with partners we are able to provide advice at our drop-in sessions on a variety of useful topics, such as;

Benefits and rights - North Staffs & Stoke on Trent Citizens’ Advice

Sexual health - Staffordshire Buddies

Safety - Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service and Staffordshire Police

Housing - Stoke on Trent Council Housing Advice Services
