Burslem Jubilee Project

BJP’s mission is to be a friend with a helping hand - a connection between refugees, asylum seekers and the UK at large and their local community. We give them the tools so that they can then stand on their own 2 feet and be a part of our community.

 

To do this we:

• hold lessons on English and UK life and culture.

• help them to access advice and information from government and not-for-profit organizations.

• find ways for asylum seekers and refugees to mix with local people and take part in local activities to encourage acceptance.

• welcome them to a safe space to eat and talk.
